Hey! I’m Adeline- a sophomore from Oregon. I love to read, but when I’m not doing that I’m probably cooking, traveling, or dancing.
On here, I will be posting book reviews, hauls, TBR’s and any other ideas I come up with along the way. I hope you will join me on this blogging adventure.
The Bibliophile of Beaverton is currently accepting e- and print-ARCs, -galleys, and -books for review consideration from publicists, authors, agents, etc. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or through my contact form with the book title and synopsis to request a review. Please keep in mind:
1. I look over book review requests nearly every day, but that does not guarantee that I will look over it the day you send it to me.
2. Sending a request doesn’t guarantee a review. I only respond to offers that interest me.
3. I will accept book requests in nearly any genre, but I prefer YA books to other types, so there will be a higher chance of me reviewing that type of book. I rarely, if ever, read horror, poems, or manga/graphic novels. I don’t have a Kindle or other e-reading device, so if you are sending me an e-book, please make the file compatible for a computer and/or phone.
4. What you can expect if I decide to review the book: a detailed review with both positive and negative comments about your book, summarizing the aspects I enjoyed and didn’t enjoy, in under a couple months (If you have a release date approaching or other reason you would like me to review by a certain date, I will take this into account.) The review will be posted on this website and Goodreads. You can expect my complete honesty. I’m never brutal, though.
That being said, most of the books I review are from either the library, loaned to me by friends or family, or books I bought myself. It should be assumed everything I review was obtained in this fashion unless expressly stated otherwise in the review. Once I have finished reading a book for review, I usually donate it to my local library or charity, give it to a fellow blogger or friend, or delete it (in the case of eBooks).
Thank you for reading, I really appreciate it. I’m looking forward to reviewing your novel!
